Dorothy Frances Devine

Dorothy was a wise and beautiful woman and friend. I was honored to know her. Thinking of Bea during this hard time.

Rest in peace, Dorothy. Dorothy had reached out to my husband, Bill, and me last year to give us her documents and photos from her years leading the Saugatucket River Heritage Corridor Coalition and to thank us for starting a new group to advocate for her beloved river. Our lives are richer for having known her even for a short while, and our group is off to a stronger start thanks to her treasure trove of documents and wisdom, and all of the good things the SRHCC accomplished under her leadership. Thank you, Dorothy, and our deepest sympathy to Bea.

Such and amazing woman and what a full and well lived life! She was such a staunch advocate for Saugatucket Pond and River and delight to work with. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

A wonderful woman who loved our town and our river as well as we do. So glad that We had our visits together.

Bea, my heart is absolutely broken for you and your family. May you all find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of your life together.
