Carol Forlenza Quinones
June 28, 2025
Dottie and I have been friends since grammar school. We both lived on Elm street. We knew each other's family and spent many hours at a the candy store. We hung out as teenagers always dancing with the Motown sound, We saw each other fairly often until I moved to Ohio. A few years ago we had a reunion with some of our old friends. It was wonderful to see her and those beautiful smiling eyes. I have so many memories of growing up together. She was so much fun. Since I moved away we have sent Christmas cards to each other all these years. We had a private joke where I called her Miss One and she called me Miss Thing. We always said we would toast each every on New Year Eve with a rum and coke. I will continue doing that and remembering her with love.
My regards to her family especially her children who she always talks about with such love.
Sincerely, Carol Forlenza Quinones
