Dorothy L. DiRomualdo

Dorothy L. "Dotti" (Proudfoot) DiRomualdo, 76, of West Chester, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Chester County Hospital, West Chester surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born in Coatesville, Dotti was the daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Miller) Proudfoot. She was the beloved wife of John P. DiRomualdo. The couple shared over 49 years of marriage. With her bright and radiate smile she lit up every place she walked into. Her beautiful soul and fashionable style will always be remembered by her family.
Prior to retirement, Dotti had most recently been employed by Twin Valley School District working in the business office for over 15 years. Dotti was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, particularly annual family vacations to the shore. Dotti was a devoted family supporter, spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren; Addison and Jack. She never missed one of their athletic and school events and loved shopping trips with her granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Dotti is survived by her children: Michael DiRomualdo, wife Lauren and Stephen DiRomualdo of Downingtown; grandchildren: Addison and Jack; brother: Harry Proudfoot, wife Cheryl; sister in law: Mary Kunkle as well as 16 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dotti was preceded in death by her sister; Sandy Hanner. step-siblings: John Kunkle and Margie Norris.
A visitation will be held on her birthday, Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:45-10:45 AM at James J. Terry Funeral Home: 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville. Luncheon to be held in celebration of a wonderful life from 1 PM -3:30 PM at Rocco and Anna's at 302 Main Street Parkesburg, PA 19365
Memorial contributions in Dotti's name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or The America Heart Association.
