Blacksburg - Dorothy "Dot" Wyatt Earls ,77, of 491 99 Island Road, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025 at her residence.
Born in York, SC, she was the wife of James "Pete" Earls, married for 56 years. She was the daughter of the late George Dargin and Vera Dover Wyatt. She was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and very active in various church ministries and mission trips. She was the secretary at Blacksburg Primary School for 33 years. She and Pete liked to pier fish together.
In addition to her husband, Dot is survived by her children, Sarah Thomas (Bryan) and Aaron Earls (Pam); her grandchildren, T.J. Childers, Wesley Earls, Jeremiah Earls, Autumn Earls, and Caitlyn Earls; her brothers, George Mack Wyatt, James Wyatt, and Gary Wyatt; her sisters, Nancy Teater, Ann Pursley, Barbara Covington, Kathy Martin, and Brenda Roberts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Hartness and Linda Wyatt.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2:00- 4:00 pm at Nazareth Baptist Church. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 pm at the church with Rev. Jamie Billings officiating.
Memorials may be made to Nazareth Baptist Church, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, 1156 99 Island Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
The family will be at their respective homes.
