Dorothy Garrison

Mrs. Garrison was our next door neighbor on Irving Street whom I remember to be a kind woman with a bright smile. I remember that she liked to listen to Johnny Mathis whom I thought most have been impossibly old by the mid-60's.

Aunt Dot was a close friend of my Grandma Gladys. My Grandma once told me a story about how they were going to an event at the Army & Navy Club. Aunt Dot was picking up Grandma, and the breaks of her car weren´t working. My Grandma recalled how she jumped in and with some help were able to make it to the club! She always chuckled when she told that story. I was grateful that they had each other for many years. She was a wonderful person.
