Dorothy Mae (Hackett) Capaccio, born to Charles and Mary Hackett in Hudson, MA on May 24th, 1930 found peace and eternal rest on February 9th, 2026, in Edgewater, FL, after nearly a century of a life well lived. She is pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years Nicholas Capaccio; Daughter, Patricia Oleksak; Son, Scott Walker; Son, Robert Walker; Grandson, Joshua Walker; Grand-Daughter, Kim Bickford; and Great Grand-Daughter, Rylee Garrison.

She was one of 7 children and is pre-deceased by Brothers Dick, Bobby, and Paul, and is survived by Brothers Jimmy and Billy, and Sister Ann, and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy's greatest joy was her family, she was the heart of gatherings and always made sure everyone was fed, comfortable, and wrapped in laughter with only the sass that she could bring. Her kitchen was always a place where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and traditions were made. Whether hosting holidays, Sunday dinners, cookouts, or spontaneous visits from family and friends, her hospitality was effortless and genuine. Always fashionable, and put together, she carried herself with quiet confidence and timeless style. In life's simplest moments she brought a sense of grace and polish that reflected her inner strength.

She has left behind a legacy of love and family bonds that will continue for generations to come. She leaves Son, Nicholas Capaccio Jr (Ellen); Son, Thomas Capaccio (Kendra); Daughter, Judith Bolduc; Great-Grandson, Nate Perkins; Grandson-In-Law, George Bickford; Great-Grandsons. Milan and Dylan; Great Great-Grandchildren, Gabriel and Noah; Granddaughter. Lori Perkins; Great Granddaughter, Katie Fisher (Steve); Great Great-Grandchildren, Blake, Charlie and Beau; Billy Paul Walker (Leslie); Grandson, William Walker III (Maureen); Great-Grandchildren, Callie and Declan; Grandson, Jermiah Walker; Daughter-In-Law, Venerie Walker; Granddaughter, Kristie Dober (Eric); Great-Grandsons, Jake and Rylan; Grandson, Robert Walker Jr (Lauren); Granddaughter, Tricia Garrison (Jamie); Great-Grandchildren, Joshua, Luke, and Piper; Grandson, Brandon Walker; Great-Grandchildren, Jude and Rhiannon; Granddaughter, Korie Walker; Great-Grandchildren, Mason, Madelynn, and Marlo; Bruce Walker (Cyndi); Grandson, Bruce Walker Jr (Jodie); Grandson, Kristopher Walker (Adrienne); Great-Grandchildren, Sophia, Izzy, and Levi; Granddaughter, Kellie Shenk (Myron); Grandchildren, John; Son-In-Law, Bill Oleksak and Grandson, William Oleksak III (Amanda); Great-Grandchildren, Kaylyn, William IV, and Haylee; Granddaughter, Jessica Coty (Pat); Great-Grandchildren, Ashley and Logan; Granddaughter, Shannon Bennett (Chris); Great-Grandchildren, Declan and Easton; Daughter-In-Law, Linda Walker; Grandson, Scott Walker Jr; Grandson, Dylan Walker (Tricia); Great-Granddaughter, Lacey and Grandson, Shane Walker (Kaylie).

Her greatest legacy lives on in the family she so fiercely loved. Through her eight children, nineteen-grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Her spirit continues forward in shared meals and laughter around crowded tables, and her belief that life should always be met with gratitude and grace. The family she created shared in the love she poured out and her ever "cup half full" outlook will remain woven into the fabric of generations to come. Her life was not only well-lived, it was multiplied.

Mass will be held on March 19th, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Gerard Catholic Church located at 3171 S. Ridgewood Ave, Edgewater, Fl 32141.
