Dorothy Frances Holland

Our mother, Dorothy Frances Holland of Phoenix, Arizona passed away the morning of May 10, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on May 14, 1942, in Oxford, Kansas. Dorothy was survived by her sister Annie Hardin, brother Steve Cheuvront, daughter Denisa Holland, son David Holland and two grandchildren Dustin Holland and Tessa Holland. Preceded her death were parents Maurice and Lucille Cheuvront, her sister Marie Spoon, Rose Robinson, Genny Kuntz and brother Jesse Cheuvront. Dorothy always had such a big heart and did anything she could for anyone. She loved to see other people smile and help one another. She worked at the Winfield State Hospital for disabled people. She loved working there and she even had one adult disabled boy she was attached too and cared for. In the late 1960's Dorothy and her husband Donald Holland moved to Hayden, Arizona. She worked for the state of Arizona with disabled adults and kids. Dorothy loved helping people especially those who were disabled and she also loved traveling, fishing and going to casinos.
