Dorothy June Houck Leach, 95, Johnson City, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Lakebridge Health Care Center, following a lengthy illness. June was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Amye Morgan Houck. June was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church, where she received the love and support from friends thru difficult times. June was the wife of the late Ferrell R. Leach, and mother to four sons, Allen F. Leach and wife Linda, Slocomb, AL, Ray Leach, Johnson City, Dayton Lynn Leach and wife Donna, Greeneville, Brian K. Leach, Johnson City; two grandchildren, Julia and Jonathan; one great granddaughter, Hallie; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fredrick E. Houck, and sister, Margie H. Dawson. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12:30 P.M., in the Sanctuary of Midway Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Taylor, officiating. Committal service and entombment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the church. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be given in-lieu-of flowers to Midway Baptist Church, 3414 W Walnut St., Johnson City, TN 37604, or your favorite charity.
