Dorothy (Walker) Boeck Isaacks, 93, of Normanna, Texas passed away November 9, 2025, in Seguin, Texas.
Dorothy was born January 29, 1932, in Karnes County to John Wesley Walker and Ruby Inez (Lee) Walker. She was a high school graduate who dedicated her life to her family and her passions. Known for her happy and friendly demeanor, she brought joy to those around her, always greeting others with a warm smile. She married Russell Boeck in 1949 in Choate, Texas. Three children were born to this union. After Russell’s death, she married Wayne Isaacks in Normanna in 2002.
Her love for design was reflected not only in her professional career as an interior designer but also in the warmth of her home, where she skillfully transformed spaces to create inviting atmospheres for family and friends. Her faith was an integral part of her life; she actively attended Normanna Baptist Church, where she found community and fellowship.
In addition to her spiritual pursuits, Dorothy had a rich array of hobbies that included cooking, sewing and crocheting. She cherished the moments spent playing games and visiting with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that would be treasured by all who knew her.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Walker; her first husband, Russell Boeck, who passed away in 1981; her son, Russell Boeck Jr.; her second husband, Wayne Isaacks, who departed in 2017; as well as a brother, William Walker; and a sister, Emily Inez Fox.
She was the proud mother of two daughters, Deborah (Bill) Kent and Deanna Morphew, both of Stockdale. Her family continued to grow, and she became the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, who brought her much joy.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, November 14, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville with a funeral service at 12 o’clock. Brother Kenneth Fox will officiate.
Dorothy will be buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18.
