Dear Friends, It was a lovely summer day when you and I went to my sister's special service. She would have been so pleased to see you. I felt she was there beside me as you gave me a hug or shook my hand. Throughout the years Dorothy had often shared her friends with me as we went to church, to the mall, a concert, a play or music in the park. I was grateful for the feeling that I really knew you because you were so special to her. Thank you for being there.

My grandmother was an incredible woman. I have nothing but wonderful and fond memories of her. And those fond memories are what got me through Sept 6 when i got the horrible news that she passed away. My whole family loved grandma. I always looked forward to talking to her on the telephone every weekend. Grandma will be terribly missed, but never forgotten. R.I.P Grandma Kekich you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

It is a great joy to read the entries in this guest book and to find out even more about my Aunt Dorothy.

As kids we spent alot of time in Hot springs with our parents, Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Nick, Nicky and our Grandparents.

Many of my favorite childhood memories are from those visits...barbequeing outdoors down on the lawn, eating Uncle Nick's barbeque beans and Aunt Dorothy's desserts, fighting over which one of us got to lay in the hammock, helping Aunt Dorothy weed the flower beds, looking at all her beautiful glass treasures, sneaking the 'liqour' filled candies from her red dish in the living room, reading 'My Book House' in the little tv room, going for walks and listening for the whippoorwill, going next door for the big Halloween party and playing with Princess.

Over the last few years I was especially excited when she got online with her computer. We had a huge laugh over a chat room we set up just for my mom, my sister Kathy, Aunt Dorothy and myself. Somehow Aunt Dorothy got out of our chat room and into another one that she could not get out of. For several months after that, every time she went online the other chat room would contact her and want to talk. She said the subject matter wasn't very nice, and eventually they stopped bothering her, but all the same she thought that was a good laugh!!

I will miss her beautiful smile and her positive spirit!

I will certainly miss calling her just to hear her laughing about one thing or another! Bye Aunt Dorothy! I love you! Linda

My Aunt Dorothy was always full of encouragement and good thoughts. She was always interested in what I was up to and always had something kind and thoughtful to say. I loved getting typed letters stapled in to cards and then e-mails wheather I was in New Zealand or Los Angeles. Dorothy is missed by all who knew her. She will live in our hearts forever.

Dorothy was a wonderful neighbor! She would call us or drop by, just to see how Bill and My mother(Clara) & me were doing. We would talk on the phone a lot. Dorothy came down to our <50th> Anniversary party and had such a good time seeing some people she had not seen in awhile! She was a very caring person and loved her family dearly! Especially her granddaughter, Patricia. She spoke of her often and I enjoyed every moment of her + bragging + & her smiling face. Many stars are in your crown. May you be filled with no more pain or sadness but good health, happiness, love and joy and seeing old friends, neighbors, loved ones their waiting for you! Good Bye Dear Friend. We will miss Dorothy so much. She has been like an "extra" mother to me for a long time. She always had a wonderful dessert ready for us when my brother and sister and their families came home for a visit. Her earthquake cake was the biggest hit! She remembered our birthdays.

I will never forget the wonderful wedding shower she gave me. My colors for the wedding during Christmas time were red and white. She used all her gorgeous red crystal and red flowers. It was a dream come true for a bride-to-be.

She, Ruby Wright, and my mom came often for lunch to Arkadelphia and visted my home often for one of their "three muskateer" outings. What I will remember the most is her lovely smile and twinkling eyes.

She and Nick were great to Brian when he was a baby. Nick always teased him and he loved it. He still has the coin "apple" bank that had a worm that grabbed the money.

She, my mom and Ruby and their spouses will have a great time up in heaven.

Dear Dorothy,

I will miss your smiling face and our friendship. You were so good to me after I lost my mother last year and I enjoyed our lunches and our visits together. You were always such a giving person and always ready to help others.

I will miss making earings for you and seeing you wear them.

Love,

Mary JO
