Dorothy V. Koch

Koch, Dorothy V. age 98 of Minneapolis, born Sep. 22, 1914 in Sioux Falls, SD to William and Lillie Waples, passed away March 23, 2013. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Koch, Sr. She will be dearly missed by her son, Elmer, Jr. (Jackie) Koch of Bloomington; daughter, Gwen (Mike) McLean of The Villages, FL; grandchildren: Kenneth (Sandra) Koch, Scott (Lisa) Koch, Paul (Julia) Lowder, Amanda (Shawn) Brown, Caressa (John) Tralongo, Michelle (Dan) Pavletich and Cassandra (Eric) Vassar; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and many other family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing cribbage, doing crossword puzzles and knitting slippers for residents and staff at Mt. Olivet Home where she lived for the past 12 years. While there, she was an active participant in Bingo and many other activities. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640, 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. with visitation one hour before. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Careview Home, 5517 Lyndale Ave S., Mpls., 55419.
