Dorothy Leah Landberg

Dorothy Landberg (nee Bein), 104, of Cincinnati, OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025. Born August 10, 1920, she is survived by her daughter, Lesley (Bob) Ross and daughter-in-law Stacey Andringa. She was the cherished grandmother of David (Sarah) Wise, Beth (Scott) Kotzin, and Jennifer Andringa and the loving great-grandmother of Hannah, Rebecca and Noah Wise and Jacob, Joshua and Benjamin Kotzin. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Landberg, her son Stuart Andringa, and her grandson Philip Andringa.
Dorothy lived a full life, filled with travel, family gatherings and a long career at The Lite House. She loved game shows and crime shows, reading mysteries, doing puzzles, and watching her beloved Cincinnati Reds. She made a mean mandelbread and was always called upon to make her famous Jell-O mold for holiday dinners. Playing bingo and going on day trips with her friends at The Lodge were some her favorite activities and kept her busy in her golden years.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, at Weil Kahn Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249 at 12:00pm; visitation will start at 11:15am. Services will be LIVESTREAMED https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/109369. Burial will take place privately for family only.
Shiva will be held that evening at the home of David and Sarah Wise, 8200 Glenmill Court, Cincinnati, OH, 45249, at 7:00pm-9:00pm with minyan at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati (hospiceofcincinnati.org) or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
