Dorothy Lukas Obituary
Born in 1938, in Rahway, NJ, Dorothy was raised in Bloomfield, NJ, where she spent her childhood and formed many lifelong friendships. She began her career with Prudential Insurance in Newark, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Dorothy married James Lukas, and together they raised a family in Clifton, NJ. She was active with the community including St. Andrew's 39ers Club, Slovak Catholic Sokol Fraternal Organization, and St Mary's Senior Group.
Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, David Lukas; her daughter, Diane Farrell and her spouse, John; her brother, Robert Burbidge and his spouse, Camille; and her cherished grandchildren, Casie and Marc.
Dorothy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, NJ.
