Mrs MacDonald was born in Danvers, Massachusetts. and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna M.(Verry) Wright. Dorothy was a resident of Melrose for the past 76 years and was a graduate of Melrose High School. Mrs. MacDonald worked at Wadland Jewelers, Melrose for several years until her retirement. Dorothy was the wife of the late Judson M. MacDonald. Mother of Doug MacDonald and his wife Elaine of Melrose, Leonard S. MacDonald and his wife Annette of Schenectady,NY and the late Neil J. MacDonald. Mother in law of Pauline "Polly" MacDonald of Reading. Grandmother of Ian MacDonald and his wife Beth, Gary and Colleen MacDonald all of Schenectady,NY, Laurel Hollinden and her husband David of Wakefield, Kelly Willwerth and her husband Wayne of Woburn and Alison MacDonald of Melrose. Great Grandmother of Kylie Willwerth, Felicia Hollinden and Ryan MacDonald. Cousin of Philip Wadland and his wife Helen of Stoneham and Robert Wadland and his wife Beatrice of Melrose. Visiting hours at the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Melrose, Tuesday 7-9 PM ONLY. Gifts in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
