Dorothy Ann Manoogian, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2024 at the age of 95. She lived most of her life in the serene town of Gregory, MI, where she created a warm and welcoming home alongside her late husband, Carl.
Dorothy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly spending her days on the deck, gazing out at the tranquil waters that brought her so much peace. Her love for nature mirrored her love for family, as she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
Whether it was hosting family gatherings or sharing laughter with friends, Dorothy's warmth and kindness touched everyone who entered her life. She was the heart of her family, offering love, support, and wisdom to all.
Daughter of the late Frank and Sidney Shaltz, Dorothy is survived by her children, Carl (Judy) Manoogian, Michael (Debbie) Manoogian and Sharon Gonzalez; 11 grandchildren; 8 Great-grandchildren; many extended family, neighbors and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Carl Manoogian; daughter, Carolyn Clardy; daughter-in-law, Kim Manoogian.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton 48116 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 16 at 11am, with gathering to begin at 10am.
Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI will take place at 2:30 P on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Memorial contributions are encouraged in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, 25200 Telegraph Rd, Suite #100, Southfield, MI 48033 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis TN, 38105
