Dorothy M. Mattingly, 80, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at her home in Corydon. She was born March 13, 1943, in Albany, KY, the daughter of William O. and Lona Brown Pryor. She was self-employed and a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Corydon. She was a board member of the church, and she authored the book, "Messages From God". She was preceded in death by her father, William O. Pryor. She is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Mattingly of Corydon, IN; sons, Brian Kiser (Susan) of Milltown, IN and Tom Fanning of Basset, VA; stepsons, Joe A. Mattingly (Pam) and Jerry Mattingly (Faith) all of Corydon, IN; daughters Cindy Cain of Henryville, IN and Sonja Clark (Stephen) of Corydon, IN; her mother, Lona Pryor of New Castle, IN; brother, Rex Pryor of Richmond, IN; sisters, Rita Beach (Richard) and Kathy Pryor all of New Castle, IN, 8 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Trinity Assembly of God Church. Pastor Paul Greer will officiate. A burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN and from 12 PM until the service at 2 PM Thursday at Trinity Assembly of God Church. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to her church. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hartman, Robert Hughes, Larry McCutcheon, Chris Cain, Joseph A. Mattingly and Stephen Brown.
