WORCESTER/DUDLEY___ Dorothy R McGlynn, ( Martinson) (Wrubel) 84, recently of Worcester and Dudley, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 14th, 2025.

She is survived by her son David Martinson and his wife Kathy ( Cote) with whom she lived with at the time of her passing, Her Grandchildren who she adored, Nicole Williams (Martinson) and her husband Mark of Hooksett, NH, Kristen Martinson and her fiancee Sean Gannon of Pomfret Center, CT, Her two Great Grandchildren Sophie and Lincoln Williams who she cherished. She was their Nana Bananna. Siblings, Benjamin Wrubel and his wife, Claudette, and Mary Ann Rondeau (Wrubel), all of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. Her lifelong friends Inga McGrail and Nancy Bott, and her Bestie Rasberry the cat. She was predeceased by her husband Robert McGlynn, her sister, Rose Gallant, and her brother Anthony (Tony) Wrubel. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward and Helen T. (Zaleska) Wrubel.

Dorothy enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. Over her years she worked at the Ricky Bra Company where she started her career, The Mart, Allegro Microsystems, Seven Hills Foundation, and a Senior companion. One of her biggest accolades was saving a child from a runaway car in the state of Washington. She would help anyone with no questions asked.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Nurses and Home Health Aides from Care Central VNA. Their compassion touched all of our hearts in many ways..

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday November 21, 2025 in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
