Dorothy Jean McManus

Dorothy Jean (Locke) McManus, age 91, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Dorothy (Brown) Locke and wife of the late Leo "Buddy" McManus.

Jean was born on July 1, 1934 in Boston and was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1952. She was a long-time resident of Foxborough and was a Communicant of St. Mary's Church in Foxborough. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She most enjoyed spending time with her family.

Loving mother of Eileen Topping of Foxborough, Maryann Rayne of TN and her late husband David, Jeanne Doyle and her husband Michael of Westwood, Teresa Peavey and her husband Joseph of Pawtucket, RI and the late Doreen Small. Beloved grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of seven. Sister of the late Barbara Howard and Walter Locke.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 8 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 11 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough.
