Dorothy Jean Pumphrey addressed by many as "Sister Pumphrey'' or "Dolly" was born on February 3, 1939 in El Dorado Arkansas has dearly departed this life at 86 on October 1, 2025 at Regional Medical Center in San Jose Ca. She is survived by her 5 sons as a beloved mother, mother in-Law, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and a cherished friend to many. She dedicated her life to her family always providing unwaverying support and love.
She was a devoted and a compassionate woman of her faith in Christianity. She was an evangalist who started her solo ministery in Santa Cruz, CA in the late 1980's and continued to serve the Lord until she was called home. Throughout her journey, she touched many lives with her warmth, generosity and compassion. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever live in our hearts.
Memorial viewing will be held at Light of the World located at 3777 Quimby Rd, San Jose Ca 95148 Oct 24, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
