Dorothy M. Reed, 94, of Kansas City, MO, went home to heaven on September 5, 2025. She was born in Topeka, KS, on December 12, 1930, to mother, Faye Gifford, and father, Roy Gifford. Dorothy had two sisters and three brothers. On September 15, 1947, she married Terry Reed. After their marriage, they started their family which consisted of six children: Linda (Gerry) of Lone Jack, MO, Tami (Les) of Lone Jack, MO, Reita (Odis) of Raytown, MO, Kirby of Kansas City, MO, Terry of Kansas City, MO, and Ronny of Kansas City, MO. Dorothy also had several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters and some grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The Celebration of Life is September 28, 2025, from 1-4pm at 119 Lake Paradise Road, Lone Jack, MO 64070. Private funeral at a later date. Memorial flowers should be sent to 119 Lake Paradise Road, Lone Jack, MO 64070.
