Dorothy Roberts Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband J.T, her parents, and her sisters, Reba Rice and Pauline Smith and numerous other family members.
Dorothy's legacy of love continues through her surviving family. She leaves behind her three children: Eddie Roberts and his wife, Lucy; Sharon Roberts Haney and her husband, Charles; and James Roberts. She was a proud grandmother to Paul Roberts and his wife, Ashley; Philip Roberts; Carrie Cody and husband Darrin; Elizabeth Thrailkill; Charles Haney; Derek Haney and wife Sariea, Chad Haney and wife Caylee, and Christopher Haney. She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren. Dot will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX. Friends and family may visit Saturday from 12:00 PM until service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving.
