Dorothy Ross Obituary
Our loving mother, Dorothy LaNea Harris Ross, age 86, of Roosevelt, left this earth on September 24, 2022. She returned to her Heavenly Father and to walk with the angels.
She was born March 30, 1936, in Ioka, to Joseph Harris and Mable Anderson Price. She married Jim Ross and they had three children. They later divorced.
Mother’s greatest love was her family. She was a florist and belonged to local clubs and bowling leagues. She wrote the Harris family history book which was lovely. She had many friends.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Anita Hiatt, Rod Ross, and Judy Griffith; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren with one waiting to make its appearance; sisters, Evelyn Bodily and Ann Abercrombie.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
