Services for Miss Dorothy Diane Sanders, 67, will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 12:00 pm noon at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Pastor Mitchell Milholen officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:00 am until service time. Ms. Sanders, who was disabled, died Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Baptist Hospital Carroll County in Huntingdon. She was born on May 2, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Johnny McKnight and Cora Clabon Hardy Sanders. She loved to read her Bible and sing, with Elvis being her favorite artist. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her Easter Seals Family of over 15 years of involvement her roommates Shelia Campbell and Bessie Smith and her boyfriend David Nash of Martin, TN. Pallbearers who are serving are Wayne Hopkins, Jim Hanson, Bobby Kemp, Jasper Burcham, Adam Taylor, and Austin Taylor.
