Dorothy Stackhouse Obituary
Her mother passed away at her birth. At two weeks old, her Aunt Edna and Uncle James took her in and brought her up. She had four sisters and one brother. And in Aunt Edna's family, she had two brothers and two sisters.
Dorothy went to the Linneus Schools and to Ricker Classical Institute. June 14, 1957, she married Carlton G. Stackhouse. Married for 70 years of marriage, they had three boys and one daughter: Kevin E. and Brenda Stackhouse, Brent A. and Brenda Stackhouse, Carla L. and Bob Twining, Matthew J. and Stacy Stackhouse; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, all of Springfield Mass.
Calling hours will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday January 25, 2026, at Bowers Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at the New Limerick Cemetery in the spring. To share memories and condolences please visit www.bowersfuneral.com
