Dear mother to Ann (Steve) Tong of Findlay, Carolyn (Glenn Sellke) Verplatse of Strongsville, and Allen (Valerie) Verplatse of Columbus. Proud grandmother of Anthony Tong of Cincinnati, Alexandria Tong of North Canton, Christina Verplatse of Texas and Evelyn Verplatse of Columbus.
Dorothy retired from Ford Motor Credit after 13 years of service and previously managed JB Clothestree in Findlay.
She was a long-time member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a long-time volunteer with CHOPIN Hall.
Per Dorothy's wishes there will be no visitation or viewing. A memorial service will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Michael's Catholic Church,
