Dorothy Ann Wilden, 83, of Marion Center, passed away peacefully at IRMC and into the hands of the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1941, in Indiana to the late Andrew and Helen (Braznick) Orvosh.
Dorothy graduated from Saltsburg High School, class of 1959, and worked at Robertshaw Industries. Dorothy spent her life with her late husband Thomas "Gus" Wilden in Ernest until her move to Marion Center in 2006.
She enjoyed wordsearch puzzles, watching movies, going to casinos, watching sporting events, and always wanting to know how her grandchildren were doing or how you were doing. She would say "is everything ok?". Dorothy was an excellent cook and was known for her homemade pierogies.
Surviving are her children, son Thomas (Joan) Wilden of Homer City, daughter Kimberly Martin of Indiana, son Gregory Wilden of Marion Center, daughter Deborah (Jeffrey) Lyons of Marienville, PA; grandchildren Matthew (Monica) Wilden, Nathan Wilden, Chad (Angela) Martin, Kristen (Craig) Bytner and Ashley Lyons, great grandchildren Easton, Keaton, Clara, Mason, and Jaxon; as well as one sister Josephine Grimm.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Thomas "Gus" Wilden, whom passed away in November 2024, six brothers John, Andrew, Michael "Spike", Robert, Edward and William "Butch" Orvosh, and three sisters Helen Cup, Mary Ghiardi, and Margaret Davis, as well as son-in-law Gary Martin.
At Dorothy's request, all services are held privately, and burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
