She was born September 29, 1946, in Jamestown, Kentucky, to the late Iva Ray and Elizabeth Lawhorn Antle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rollin, Lindon and Willie Antle and one sister, Bula Antle.
Dorthy enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed visiting her family and friends. She loved her family with all her heart and made friends with everyone she met. She was a member of Welfare Baptist Church.
Survivors include:
Her daughter and son-in-law – Eunice Gail and William Harrison of Russell Springs
Four grandchildren – Nathan Schackow of Ponce de Leon, Florida, Dylan Harrison of LaRue County, Taylor Harrison and Gracie Harrison both of Russell Springs
Two great-grandchildren – William and Payton Schackow of Russell Springs
One sister – Margie Calhoun of Russell Springs
Several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Fields officiating
Burial in Regan Cemetery
Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Saturday
Casket Bearers: William Harrison, Coty Roy, Larry Grider, Darren Baldridge, Red Holmes, Keith Gossage
