Doug Butt, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 24, 2024, He was born on August 5, 1949, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Doug will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering for his family. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 55 years, Mary Butt. Doug was a devoted father to Lisa Casada of Florida, Lorie Ryan (Keith Ryan) of Kentucky, and Brian Douglas (Bethany Douglas) of Ohio. He also leaves behind grandchildren who adored him: Emily Casada and Brady Casada of Kentucky; John Thomas Ryan (Alison Ryan) of Indiana; Lily Ryan of Kentucky; Jameson Douglas and Patrick Douglas of Ohio.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives for visitation at Cone Funeral Home located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104 on August 3, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at the same location from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Doug Butt's legacy of love and warmth will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace as his spirit lives on through the memories he created with his beloved family.
