Doug Conway

 

Doug Conway, age 73, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.  Doug is preceded in death by his dearest parents, Charles Junior Conway and Marian Newman, his brother Michael Conway, and sisters Roseanne and Nancy.  He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Sandra Dell Conway; his dearest children; Amanda Conway Flores (Gilbert) and Michael Douglas Conway; his wonderful grandchildren; Gilbert Bauman Flores, Hailey Flores (Kyle Cummings) and Brooke Flores; and sister Barbara Conway Owen (Chet).  He is also survived by many extended friends to include golfing buddies; Manny Hernandez, Ralph Guerrero and Tim Collins; all of his Don Haskins dog park friends; and family to cherish and honor his memory.

At Mr. Conway’s request, no services will be held.  A private graveside service will be held in his home state of Missouri at a later date. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of El Paso for their loving and compassionate care.  We are especially grateful for the oncology team of Dr. Shahinian and Rue, Dr. Bagg, Dr. Enriquez, Dr. Mendel, and Dr. Pande.
