Doug Epperson Obituary

Doug was born on August 20, 1925 and passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Doug was a resident of Tyler, Texas at the time of his passing. He was married to Edna. Funeral services will be held at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home of Tyler on December 22 at 10:00 am with Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Doug's final resting place will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Hospice of East Texas or to Wounded Warrior Project.

Doug Epperson was my mentor. I learned alot about the oil and gas industry from Doug. He made it possible for me to progress my career. He gave me opportunities. I could I often think back about how he would handle situations.He will be missed.
