Doug Matheny

Doug was such a great friend to everybody in highschool. He was in the band and so many years of band camp and competitions. Then just as one of the guys - always respectful and courteous. Great memories - wish we had stayed in touch through the years. Praying for the family. He was so young and his daughters are surely going to miss him for so much of their lives and their children's lives. His wife - I am heartbroken for you. Living life without my other half would be hard. But at the end of the day - GOD is in full control and has been. He knew about the cancer before it began to spread and He ultimately chose to continue to grow. I don't understand this as I am sure you surely do not either. But, HE has a plan for each of you. Please be open to Him and His plan for the days ahead. He will give you comfort like no other. He loves Doug and He loves you.
