Douglas M. Bezon

I do not get the Daily News, so, I just learned of Doug's passing. My parents, and sister, Vacelia and I were friends of Doug. When I was on the City Council in the late 1970's, there was a bad winter storm and Doug came to our house on his own with his big yellow snow plow and plowed our driveway. He told us later that a neighbor came out and told him that it must be nice that he was plowing the driveway of a City Councilman. Doug explained that he was not from the City and if this person wanted his driveway plowed, he could pay Doug to do it.
