Douglas Boan Obituary
Growing up in Wallace, SC; Doug was a graduate of Wallace Highschool. Following this, he would quickly join the workforce. Doug was employed at B.C. Moore for over forty years as a Warehouse Supervisor. In his retirement, he was an avid fan of college sports; his favorite football team was the South Carolina Gamecocks. Doug was a man that everyone knew. He was well-loved and got along with everyone he met. He is a man that will be missed by many.
Doug is survived by his nieces Tygerr Teal her son Tyrn Teal. He is further survived by a great host of distant nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet, Wednesday December10th, 2025 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. A memorial service will be followed at 3:30 pm with Pastor Phillip Jones officiating.
