Doug's sense of humor, willingness to explain how things work, and his love of nature will be missed by his children Terra, Tyvor, Virgil, and Lochlann Demien, and his mother, Kristine Demien well as his father, Richard Demien, and Marla, his step mother, his two half-brothers and their wives, Michael and Jessica Demien, and Brad and Julie Demien, and nieces Kaitlyn and Audrey, and nephew Ethan.
Doug loved camping and playing video games with his children, practicing wushu martial arts, writing fiction and bantering with his Dad and brothers during Packers games. He was a loving dad and son, with a sharp wit, a big smile and a kind heart. Sorely missed, our memories of him will be a blessing.
He was laid to rest July 26, 2023, in Willamette National Cemetery.

We are still in shock at the loss of Doug, doubtless gone to Heaven too soon. We rejoice in knowing we will join him there in Eternity. We dearly miss him- his laughter, his smile, his loving hugs. We give thanks for our many fond memories. Marla and Richard
