Doug had a long career on the railroad. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and left behind a living example of gentleness and selflessness. Among the many things that brought joy to his life were: restoring late model cars, baseball, traveling to countries (especially Jamaica), participation in theater, Kennywood, being a Mason, reading, and watching "Good Morning America" (especially Deals and Steals), and buying his nieces thoughtful gifts all year long. Doug will be deeply missed. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give or American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
