Douglas Lee Eidemiller
80 years old, died of natural causes on April 10, 2024, at Chestnut Lane, in Gresham, Oregon.
Douglas was born to Elizabeth ("Betty") and George Eidemiller on September 23, 1943, in Olympia, Washington.
Douglas graduated from the Washington School for the Deaf in Vancouver, Washington, and went on to have a long career assembling residential electronics at Hewlett Packard, Tektronix, and Panasonic.
Douglas lived in Vancouver, Washington, most of his life. He was very proud of the home he owned there and spent countless hours doing home improvement projects and tending his elaborate vegetable gardens and flower beds.
Douglas was known for going all out with his Christmas decorations each year. He loved teddy bears, rainbows, the beach and taking vacations with friends.
Douglas is predeceased by his mother Betty, his father George, and his younger brother Mark.
Douglas will be laid to rest next to his beloved mother at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 12:30 PM (address: 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA, 98684). There will be a viewing and short chapel service, followed by graveside services and a simple reception.
