Douglas Charles Greyerbiehl, 69, of St. Joseph, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2024. He was born on Dec. 13, 1954, in Bad Axe, Mich., to the late Lester (George) and Helen (Hill) Greyerbiehl.

Doug was a beloved father and friend, known for his love of the outdoors. He is survived by his twin daughters: Jessica and Jenny; their mother, Tammy; brothers: Paul and George Greyerbiehl; and sisters: Brenda Kreh and Theresa Provot.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Michael, Patrick, infant brother Thomas, sisters: Shirley Leppek, Janet Sweeney, Patricia Grigg and Nancy Janik.

Doug cherished his time with family and neighbors, often sharing his passions for hunting and gardening. He found joy in listening to audiobooks and was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and the University of Michigan football team, celebrating every game with enthusiasm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Doug's memory to the St. Joseph/Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library or the Huntington's Disease Society of America.

Doug will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
