Praying for the family

May you find peace and comfort during this time. Prayers to you and the family. I remember Bro. Hamilton when he would lead the songs at 5th Ward C of C.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Brother Doug Hamilton. I remember meeting Doug and Marty at Fifth Ward, when we me and Sheryl were newly married youngsters. It was great to have another Doug around. But he was bigger, taller, and stronger than me. I was used to being one of the few heads and shoulders sticking out of the crowd. But now I had to look up, if I wanted to talk to Doug.

I enjoy his gentle wisdom and his calm demeanor. That's not to say that he couldn't be riled up. I experienced some of that too.

Fifth Ward was a great launching spot for our family. Brother Hamilton and Marty were great part of what made that possible for us.

May God supply every need during this difficult time.

My prayers are with the Hamilton Family..as a 19 year old interested in police work I ran across Doug as he was recruiting at gulf gate mall..I was so impressed bc I knew his as a member of the church ...Doug was very very instrumental in getting me hired as I went through the application process. After I retired after 30 years I'm forever grateful and thankful for all he did to help me. As a member of the Church of Christ and a Christian I know that God has a reward for him and that he is with the Lord.

We are so sorry to hear the passing of Doug. We lived a few houses down the street from the family for 13years on San Lucia River Dr. The Payton Family send sincere sadness for Maude and family. Just learned of his passing yesterday. Love to all.
