Douglas Wayne Havard

Mr. Douglas W. (Doug) Havard, age 70 of Jacksboro, TN passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2025. Doug was born in New Orleans, LA, and spent a majority of his life in Mississippi where he graduated from Hancock North Central High School in Pass Christian, MS, and for a period of time, lived and worked in Alaska. Doug was a career Professional Truck Driver and was most recently employed with Frontier Trucking in Knoxville. He attended Caryville First Baptist Church, and deeply loved any time spent with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Sonny and Beverly Havard, and sister, Marie Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Havard, sons, Justin Havard and wife, Laura, and Aaron Havard and wife, Karen; step-children, William Smith and wife, Cora, Amy Smith and husband, Jacob Wetmore, and Laura Barber and husband, Jesse; grandchildren, Addison, Ronin, Victoria, Alex, Lilianna, Ryder, River, Gabrial, Thor, Jesse Jr., Cauius, and Nikolai; brothers, Mitchell Havard and wife, Cindy, Kenneth Havard and wife, Kathy, and Daniel Havard and wife, Wei.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  at Walters Funeral Home with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 PM with Rev. Troy Arnold officiating. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Douglas W. (Doug) Havard.
