Douglas Johnson, born on May 4, 1940 in Kaufman, Texas to Arthur and Truman Louise Johnson, passed away on October 31, 2025 in Seagoville, Texas. An outgoing and funny individual, Douglas was widely known for his vibrant personality and warm spirit.

He was skilled with his hands, able to fix anything that needed repairing, and his skills as a mechanic allowed him to work on cars, a pastime that brought him great satisfaction. He also enjoyed spending time with friends, never turning down a game of dominoes or darts.

Douglas is survived by his children, Joy Lynn Rivera; Duane Johnson and Wife, Debbie, Gay Lynn Cook and husband Dennis, Sandra Lamb as well as 7 step-children; sibling, Billie Bennett; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren as well as a numerous nieces and nephews.
