Douglas Glen Kilpatrick, affectionately known as Doug, 73, of Pocola, Oklahoma, passed away on February 21, 2026, at his home in. He was born on April 10, 1952, at Camp Chaffee in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Glen Loyd Kilpatrick and Annabelle Harkins (Goodwin).

Doug married the love of his life, Janice Kilpatrick, on March 31, 1973, at Arkoma Assembly of God. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love, sharing more than five decades of marriage.

He attended one year of college and went on to work as a salesman for Pepsi Cola Bottling in Fort Smith, where he dedicated 20 years of service. Doug was well known for his strong work ethic and the friendships he formed throughout his career.

Doug had a passion for race cars and loved basketball. He especially enjoyed bull riding and barrel racing, embracing the excitement and spirit of the sport. He was a faithful member of Assembly of God in Republica, where his faith was an important part of his life.

More than anything, Doug treasured his family. He will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the many memories he created with those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Kilpatrick; his two children, Glen Kilpatrick and wife Rachel of Pocola, Oklahoma, and Barry Kilpatrick and wife Jodi of Charleston, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jordan, Ayden, Hunter, Bellamy, and Anabelle; and one great-grandchild, Zariyah. He is also survived by special friends Barry, Benny, Brandon, Eric, Mike, and Dusty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Loyd Kilpatrick and Annabelle Harkins (Goodwin), and one grandchild, Emerson Kilpatrick.

A memorial service will be held in Daytona, Florida, in the summer of 2026. The family has chosen to have no formal service at this time.

Doug will be remembered with lots of love and deeply missed by all who knew him.
