I just learned of Doug's passing. On behalf of myself and my sisters, we send our deepest sympathy. Doug and Glennis were our schoolmates at Oak Grove School so many years ago. We did not keep in touch, but hearing the names bring back fond memories. We are saddened to hear of Doug's passing, especially at such a young age. Blessings to all your family at this time of sorrow and know that you and Douglas are being thought of. Linda Koehn (Henninger), and my sisters Cathy Moore, Paula Smethurst, and Sally Butcher.

My first and best childhood friend, Douglas, shared so many experiences along Laberdee Road, at Oak Grove School, the county fair. I have always treasured the memories as our life journeys followed different but parallel paths, always grounded in the strength of friendship and family ties. So long dear friend, and thank you for those memories. God's peace be with you and your family. John Kottke

Dear Carol and your family,
I just happened to look on the website and saw that Doug had passed away. What a surprise. We are in Florida for the winter, but wanted to extend to you our sympathy and prayers. Eileen (Hickok) & Phil Schlueter.
