Terry Fluger

Hello, my name is Terry Fluger and I was blessed to know Chaplain Pond when he served as our Chaplain at Coleman Barracks in Mannheim, Germany. I was there from Dec 1972- May 1974, during which time I learned to follow Jesus. Chaplain Pond encouraged me to visit First Baptist church in McHenry, IL when my enlistment was completed as he had gone to seminary with their Pastor. Soon after returning home I visited FBC where I met my future wife, Nancy Christie. I am very thankful for Chaplain and Mrs Pond as they modeled what following Jesus really means. Special thanks to Mrs Pond for having periodic "Taco feeds" at Coleman Chapel for the troops. I am also thankful for the US Army Chaplain Corp because of first hearing the gospel from an Army Chaplain at Ft Gordon, GA. May God continue to comfort and bless you with Doug´s advancement to Heaven. Terry & Nancy Fluger
