Douglas Allan Still
March 13, 1955 – July 10, 2023
After a long battle with cancer, Doug passed away peacefully with family by his side at his home.
Doug was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Jean (nee McKenzie), and his brother Barry. He will be missed by his wife Mary (nee Rosky) and son Jim (Olya), Doug's grandchildren Andrew and Anna, the light of his life. He also leaves his sisters, Kathy (Ernie) and Susie (Ian), brothers and sisters-in-law, Karen, Richard, Jamie, Linda, Yvonne (Glen).
Doug was raised in the Mapleton area, St. Andrews, Manitoba. He worked at the Manitoba Rolling Mills until retirement. He was a talented person that learned to be a painter and carpenter and built both family homes with his trusty sidekick Mary. Doug's pride and joy were his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for all nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing, camping, snowmobiling and woodworking.
A special thank you to all those that helped care for and support Doug during his illness in the hospital, and at home. There will be a private service at a later date.
