Douglas Taite was born on April 18, 1965 to the union of Charles D. Taite, Sr. and Daisy A. Taite in Mobile, Alabama.
A TIME FOR REST
Douglas Taite departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 peacefully at his home in Mobile, AL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles D. Taite, Sr; his brother, Charles D. Taite, Jr.; his sister, Glenda M. Taite; and his nephew, Nicholas D. Taite.
Douglas leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted mother, Daisy A. Taite of Mobile, AL; devoted eldest sister, Barbara Taite (Bobby) Lloyd of Mobile, AL; loving sisters: Cathy A. Taite of Mobile, AL and Averill K. Simmons of Montgomery, AL; his son, Antonio (Octavia) Knight of Mobile, AL; granddaughters: Kayla Joseph and Layla M. Knight; nieces and nephews: Adrian L. Taite of Snellville, GA, Charles (Stanielle) Daniels of Mobile, AL, Frank D. Taite of Decatur, GA, LaMarcus S. Taite of Mobile, AL, Jihadah K. Rashada of Duluth, GA, JaCory Q. Simmons of Montgomery, AL, Mercedes L.N. Taite, Alexis (Zachary) Watts, Catherine L. Pettway and Sarah Blaylock all of Mobile, AL, Jalesia T. Caldwell of Montgomery, AL and (devoted) Freddie L. Taite of Mobile, AL; great-nieces and nephews: Aissatou Bass of Snellville, GA, Kylah Daniels and Kaliyah Daniels both of West Palm Beach, FL, McKenyze L.M. Taite, Cadyn Daniels, Mason L. Taite and Zachary Watts, Jr. all of Mobile, AL; loving cousin, Michell R. Harris of Decatur GA; devoted neighbors: Sarah and Sandy Hesley both of Mobile, AL; cherished and longtime friends: Adrian Carter, Maurice Lewis, Hazel Marlow, Corrine Carter and Raymon Woods all of Mobile, AL; and a host of beloved family and friends.
