I first met Kent at Table Steaks in Edgewater Colo. As was his wont, he was engaged in a rousing game of one pocket, his preferred discipline. I sweated his action for a bit, and when he finished up we had a cup of coffee together and a discussion on whether one pocket or 14.1 straight pool was the more difficult game to master. It was the start of a long and cordial relationship, which I still revere. To his family, I send my deepest regards, please know that his memory and my remembrances of those times spent with him will always remain special to me.

The pool world has lost a great advocate of pool and craftsman! I met Kent when someone told me to go see him to get my pool cue repaired and tip replaced. Started talking with him and before I knew it was playing on a league team out of him location on 10th street. We had some great conversations and I always looked forward to seeing him. RIP good sir and I hope we meet again in the next life.

Kent was a special kind of man. He was very intelligent and motivated. He cared and loved his family the most. The grandson of immigrants from Lebanon, he learned ethnicity, sharing and expanding to his sons and grandson. I talked to Kent almost every day and miss him so much. Kent loved animals, his dogs Molly and George, and my two German shepherds, Sawyer and Chayce. We always visited on speaker and Chayce would coming running in when he heard Kent´s voice. They would have quite the conversation. He was 85 when he died and was born In Wichita, Kansas. I hope he knows how much I love and miss him. In my heart, always.

Kent was my neighbor for 15 plus years. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a nice man. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
