Douglas R. Vining

My husband Ron and I are used and rare book dealers who operate Old Scrolls Book Shop in Stanley, NY. Over the years, we have acquired many books that bear the bookplate of Douglas R. Vining. It almost feels as though he is an old friend. I decided tonight to look him up, because he had such wonderful taste in books. We have passed them along to others who love and appreciate fine books, I think he would be pleased to know that his books, and his taste in books, is still being appreciated.
Here's to you, Mr. Douglas Vining. We think of you whenever we open a book and find your bookplate on the endpaper.
