Doyle Gene Hunter, 82, of Stigler, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, March 16, 2026 at his home in Stigler, Oklahoma. Doyle was born on July 16, 1943 in Oakland, California, the son of Jeral Clinton and Dorothy Ruby (Bernard) Hunter. He enlisted in the United States Army serving in Vietnam in the 502 Infantry and the101st as an Airborne Mechanic. He was a member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1 since 2000. Doyle enjoyed drinking with others and spending time with friends.
Doyle is survived by his sons Doyle Hunter, Donald Hunter, and Ronald W. Hunter; brother Gary Cobb; sisters Marilee Estes and Karen Hunter Nelson ; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Doyle is preceded in death by his parents Jeral and Dorothy; daughter Kelly L. Hunter; brother Jerry L. Hunter. He is also deceased by his paternal grandparents Memaw Hunter and Roy.
