Dr Jim Sutthoff and I were intern´s together in jefferson city back in 1985-1986. Jim and I shared our locker together. He was such a pleasant man always upbeat and willing to help out during that tough year. He had the best jokes and he always played jokes on the nursing staff!!! He had several health adversities but never gave up. I am very honored to have known him . He will be greatly missed! My sincere condolences to his family.

Dr Suthoff touched many lives, including mine. He was kind, considerate, caring to his patients and people he worked with. He was very much respected. I enjoyed his hunting stories. He will be missed.

Dr Suthoff was a colleague and a friend. He was literally always smiling. He was kind, patient, and funny. I know he loved his family and his hobbies because he spoke of both of them often. Thank you for being a mentor and a friend. God bless!

This is the toughest most kind man I have ever met. I learned from him kind actions towards people is always first and foremost the most important. It has been an honor to have him as a friend and I will miss you. I was a partner of his here in Springfield and met him many years ago in Joplin. Take care Jim.
Your friend always,

Great doctor, friend, and man. Since beating cancer as a teen, he has treated every day as a gift. The manner in which he treated others reflected that graciousness and gratitude.
