We regret to announce the passing of Dr. Thomas Lee on April 7th, 2024. Thomas Jerome Lee was born on June 5th, 1953 in Wisconsin to Marilyn and Jerome Lee.
Thomas pursued a doctoral degree at Southern California College of Optometry Fullerton and received his doctorate in 1976. He served as an optometrist at Kaiser Permanente. His patients loved him as he loved his patients. He always took his time with all of his patients treating them all with kindness and respect. Though Thomas' life was full to the brim with his various pursuits and passions, he always made time for his family, especially making sure to be a guiding force in their lives.
After over 32 years of practicing as a doctor, Thomas hung up his coat and retired in 2020. During his retirement, Thomas spent much of his time driving his precious Jeep and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Helen Gabel, and the Lee family.
Thomas leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and courage that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
